Nic's path to financial services is marked by determination and self-discovery. After receiving a settlement from a motorcycle accident caused by a drunk driver, Nic realized how little he knew about managing money as a young sailor. This pivotal moment inspired him to pursue self-study in financial literacy, enroll in college courses while serving in the U.S. Navy, and eventually transition into the financial planning industry. For Nic, money represents freedom—freedom to live life on one's own terms.
Before entering the world of finance, Nic served as a Logistics Specialist in the U.S. Navy, where he honed his skills in requisition auditing and command budget auditing. As a member of the All-Navy Wrestling Team, he competed in Greco-Roman and freestyle wrestling, earning the titles of 2008 Greco-Roman All-American and 2007 Pankration National Champion. Nic’s strong sense of discipline and team spirit continues to shape his career and client relationships.
Nic holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance major from the University of San Diego, complemented by minors in Information Technology Management and Marketing. He also earned an Executive Financial Planner Advanced Certificate in Financial and Tax Planning from San Diego State University. These academic achievements underscore his dedication to staying ahead in a fast-changing industry.
When he’s not helping clients navigate their financial futures, Nic enjoys wrestling, flag football, kickball, collecting baseball cards, and creating art. Raised in the small town of Finley, Washington, Nic grew up playing sports and working year-round, mastering practical skills like backing up a tractor trailer—a talent that enhances his parallel parking to this day! He also has a limited proficiency in German, showcasing his love of learning and culture.
