Her dog Baxter—named after the iconic Ted Baxter from The Mary Tyler Moore Show—is her loyal companion in both work and leisure.

Baxter
Meet Baxter—my Zoom-famous sidekick. Part dingo (probably), part grumpy old man, and 100% the goodest of good boys (unless you're another dog, then beware!). He’s been by my side for countless adventures, and walked thousands of miles with me. There’s no one I would have rather grown gray with. At 15½ (108 in dog years!), he’s slowing down a bit and I don't know how much time we’ve got left, but for now, he’s still kicking! He is, and always will be, my Baxter Boy.
On the trail!
"When I’m not diving into financial plans, I’m usually out on a trail, soaking up the sunshine and pretending I’m a professional birder. I love being in nature—it grounds me, lifts my mood, and satisfies the nerd in me who gets way too excited spotting a towhee. I sometimes drag Nic and Claudia along for the adventure, because everything’s better with good company and a little fresh air."
